Not all murder scenes get chalk lines, and this specimen is a prime example. Did it try to rip off a drug dealer and eat the terminal consequences of such a life of crime? Was it the victim of the plague of domestic violence? Was it simply at the wrong place at the wrong time? We may never know, but we can take it as a reminder to keep our eyes open and to keep our head on a swivel when out and about in New Westminster.
